The cleaning of the fields in the Ulyanovsk region is 90% completed. The most successful municipality is Melekessky district, where over 200 thousand tons of grain have been harvested.
According to the latest reports from the regional Ministry of Agriculture, wheat and other grain crops have been successfully harvested from 619 thousand hectares, which is 90.5% of the plan. The total amount of grain harvested is 1,669,457 tons, averaging 27 centners of grain per hectare.
The harvesting of main winter and spring crops is currently being completed. For example, winter wheat has already been harvested from 313 thousand hectares, which is 98% of the plan, yielding 971 thousand tons. Winter rye has been harvested from 6 thousand hectares (92%), producing 14 thousand tons of yield.
Spring wheat has been successfully harvested from 97 thousand hectares (81.9% of the plan), yielding 239 thousand tons. Barley has been harvested from 125 thousand hectares, totaling 311 thousand tons. Additionally, harvesting of oats, triticale, peas, and lentils continues. The threshing process of millet, buckwheat, vetch, and chickpeas is ongoing.
The harvesting of technical crops has begun. 2% of sugar beets have already been harvested from 270 hectares, which is approximately 10 thousand tons of yield. The collection of soybeans, spring rapeseed, mustard, flax, maize for silage, vegetables, and potatoes is also ongoing.
The sowing of winter crops has been completed by 55%.
