OJSC "Chishminsky Sugar Plant" (CSP), which is part of the holding company "Tavros", has made a decision not to pay dividends on ordinary and preferred shares for the first nine months of 2024 due to financial difficulties, according to information disclosed on the corporate website and the source of information - the newspaper "Kommersant".

If dividends were paid, the amount of each dividend would have been 1.9 thousand rubles per share. According to the press service of the holding company "Tavros", this decision affects only the dividends of the main shareholder - LLC "Managing Company "Tavros", which will be directed towards financing other companies within the holding. Dividend payments to minority shareholders are planned for January 2025, and the necessary funds for this have already been reserved.

CSP, founded in Bashkortostan in 1996, continues to be one of the largest sugar producers in the region. In 2023, the plant generated revenue of 6.3 billion rubles (63 million dollars) and a net profit of 847 million rubles (8.47 million dollars).
