The area of grain crops in the Leningrad region will decrease by 2403 hectares by 2025.

In the current season in the Leningrad region, 535 hectares of spring crops have been sown, with plans to allocate 56 hectares for the next year.

In three districts, 436 hectares of grain crops have already been sown, and 6,000 hectares of winter grain crops have been fertilized. A total of 9,788 hectares of winter grain crops are planned to be sown by 2025.

The Hydrometeorological Center predicts that 6-8% of fields have sparse plantings.

In the fields of the Leningrad region this season, 535 hectares of spring crops are being cultivated, and next year it is planned to allocate 56 hectares for these purposes, according to information from the Committee for Agro-Industrial and Fisheries Complex of the region.

In the Volosovsky, Gatchinsky, and Luzhsky districts, 436 hectares of grain crops have already been sown. In addition, 6 thousand hectares of winter crops have been fertilized (it is planned to fertilize 4.7 thousand hectares next year).

In total, for the 2025 harvest, it is planned to sow 9,788 hectares of winter crops, while in 2024 this figure will be 12,181 hectares.

According to the Hydrometeorological Center forecasts, approximately 6-8% of the fields have sparse crops.
