Farmers in the Primorsky Krai region are actively planting grain crops and purchasing mineral fertilizers in anticipation of the new season.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Primorsky Krai reports that 19% of early grain crops have been sown, including oats, barley, and wheat. Farmers in the Partizansky District stand out for the speed of planting potatoes. 53.6 thousand tons of fertilizers have been purchased, which is 81.5% of the plan. 385 hectares of grass have been fertilized. According to the data from the Ministry of Agriculture of the region, by the beginning of April, 2,466 hectares of early grain crops were sown in Primorsky Krai. This represents 19% of the planned volume of 12,980 hectares. In particular, oats cover 1,093 hectares, barley - 760 hectares, and wheat - 612 hectares.

Farmers in the Partizansky district are the most prompt in the region in terms of planting potatoes. Currently, 1 hectare of potatoes has already been planted in the Partizansky district, which is 0.2% of the planned volume in the district of 430.8 hectares.

In addition, Primorsky farmers purchased 53.6 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers. The remainder of fertilizers from last year's sowing is 10.2 thousand tons. Therefore, the plan for the purchase of mineral fertilizers is 81.5% complete (78.3 thousand tons).

Top-dressing of perennial grasses was also carried out on an area of 385 hectares.
