In the districts of Arzgirsky, Krasnogvardeisky, Ipatovsky, and Budennovsky, agricultural organizations, peasant (farm) households, and individual entrepreneurs have already planted vegetables on approximately 309 hectares. The delivery of early potatoes on an area of 692 hectares has been completed, work is still ongoing in the Krasnogvardeisky, Kirovsky, Stepnovsky, Novoalexandrovsky, and Kursky districts.
This year, it is planned to allocate 6.2 thousand hectares for potatoes and 3.2 thousand hectares for open field vegetable crops.
"This year, agricultural producers engaged in cultivating potatoes and vegetables in open fields will receive over 63.4 million rubles in state support. Out of this amount, 11.4 million has already been allocated in the form of subsidies provided to support high-quality seed material," said Elena Tambovtseva, the first deputy minister of agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.
State support helps offset some of the costs for agricultural enterprises. Subsidies are provided within the framework of the federal project "Development of Vegetable Growing and Potato Farming."
