In the weather conditions of northern Siberia, the northern Far East, and the Urals, cold temperatures are expected in the coming days, with temperatures 5-11 degrees below normal. Frost of almost thirty degrees is expected in these areas. At the same time, abnormally high temperatures are expected in the south-west of Siberia.
According to the Hydrometeorological Center expert Roman Vilfand, overall the weather in the country will be cold over the weekend in northern Siberia, the northern Far East, and the Urals, where it will be especially cold.
In the regions of Yakutia and the eastern part of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the temperature will also be 5-6 degrees below normal, dropping to minus 35 degrees. Abnormally cold weather is also expected in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District in the Urals. Temperatures will be 6-11 degrees below normal and may drop to minus 25-31 degrees during the specified period.
In the Siberian Federal District, low temperatures are also expected, 5-10 degrees below normal. It will be particularly cold in Taymyr, where the temperature will drop to 36 degrees below zero. In Chukotka on November 16-18, temperatures are expected to be 7-10 degrees below normal, reaching minus 35 degrees.
In the Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk regions, and in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, warm weather is expected with temperatures 12-16 degrees above normal. At the beginning of the week in these regions, it was cold with temperatures from minus 15 to minus 20 degrees, but now, according to Vilfand, it will warm up to minus 1-4 degrees.
