The Chishmin sugar plant, located in Bashkortostan, has become one of the first companies in Russia to start supplying granulated sugar beet pulp to Uzbekistan, as reported by the company's press service. The first batch of this product weighing 20 tons was sent in November of this year, and it is planned to increase the volumes of monthly deliveries to 1000 tons. It is worth noting that livestock farming is actively developing in Uzbekistan, and the market for sugar beet pulp is just beginning to take shape. This product is a highly demanded natural feed additive for cattle, according to the republic's agriculture service.
Irina Markeeva, the plant's commercial director, particularly emphasized the fact that the efficiency of granulated pulp has already been proven in practice, and the demand for this feed additive continues to grow rapidly. The plant itself is one of the leading beet processors in the Volga Federal District, and after the modernization, its production capacities were increased. Last year, this enterprise supplied products to European countries, but in the last two years, the company has changed its strategy and focused on deliveries to China and Kazakhstan.
