In 2025, two new citric acid production plants will be launched in Russia. One will be located in the Tula Region, and the other in the Voronezh Region. A third plant will be opened in the Krasnodar Territory. The demand for citric acid in Russia is increasing due to the development of the food industry.

In Kazakhstan, mills have temporarily suspended their work due to pressure from cheap Russian flour. In the Pavlodar region, only 7 out of 15 flour mills are operating, while the rest have ceased their activities due to unfavorable conditions. Processors are asking for permission to purchase grain on more favorable terms to maintain production.

Rosselkhozbank allocated 424.6 billion rubles in loans to farmers in the first quarter of 2024, which is 11% more than last year. Farmers received preferential terms for 113.7 billion rubles. The bank also allocated 197 billion rubles for seasonal work.

The total amount for exports is 113.8 billion rubles.

The European Union is planning to introduce duties on grain imports from Russia and Belarus. This threatens the export of grain from Kazakhstan to the EU. A deputy has sent inquiries to the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Trade, proposing transit through Kazakhstan. In case of duties being introduced, the export of grain from Kazakhstan and prices may suffer.

In the first quarter of 2024, global prices for wheat and corn reached three-year lows due to record supply. However, it is expected that demand will increase, balancing the market. Russia, the USA, and other countries are actively exporting grain. In the long term, grain prices may rise in Europe due to supply constraints.

It provides fast sampling with excellent functional capabilities and automatic sample separation. The innovation helps to speed up processes and improve the quality of the final product.
