The inventory of grain and legumes in agricultural organizations in Russia by October 2024 showed that their stocks amounted to 35.6 million tons. This figure is 16% lower than last year and lags behind the five-year average by 2%. The information was released by Rosstat and cited by the Grain Online agency.
Specifically, wheat stocks by October 2024 decreased by 20% to 21.8 million tons, while corn stocks increased by 21% to 4.3 million tons.
