The Russian government has established a tariff quota for the export of sunflower seeds from the Zabaikalsky Krai: 9300 tons until August 31, 2025. The regulation comes into effect in 7 days.

The Russian government has set a tariff quota for the export of sunflower seeds from the Zabaykalsky Krai at 9.3 thousand tons. The resolution, signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, was posted on Thursday on the official publication portal of legal acts.

“To determine the tariff quota for the export outside the territory of the Russian Federation to states that are not members of the Eurasian Economic Union, of specific types of sunflower seeds (HS code 1206 00 99 0 of the EAEU HS), grown in Zabaykalsky Krai, and placed under the customs export procedure, in the amount of 9300 tons, until August 31, 2025,” the document says.

The allocation of the tariff quota will be carried out by the highest official of the region based on the requests of foreign trade participants and with the consent of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The resolution comes into force seven days after its official publication.
