A delegation from Bulgaria visited Crimea to discuss cooperation in the production of essential oils.

Crimean Scientific Center for Medicinal Plants named after Academician Y. T. Oganov hosted a delegation from Bulgaria headed by Plamen Miletkov. The key points of the visit included discussions on cooperation in the production of essential oils and the establishment of a test site for growing rose varieties.

On July 4th, the Federal State Budgetary Institution Research Institute of Agriculture of Crimea welcomed a delegation from Bulgaria. The visit of the guests coincided with the V International Festival of Bulgarian Culture in Crimea, named "GALAROZA," organized by the Crimean Regional Public Association "Center of Bulgarian Culture named after Ivan Vazov" under the leadership of Alla Aman.

The delegation from Bulgaria, who had previously visited Crimea, consisted of: Elisaveta Kamburova - member of the Board of Directors and secretary of the NGO "Research Institute of Technologies and Innovations named after Dr. Petar Beron," a specialist in molecular and functional biology; Vatsov Diyan - Deputy Chairman for Economic Cooperation of the NGO "Research Institute of Technologies and Innovations named after Dr. Petar Beron," entrepreneur and producer of agricultural products; Aptieva Tanka - specialist in essential oil production; Yotov Stoyan - entrepreneur and producer of agricultural products; Apostolov Yordan - producer of agricultural products and essential oils.

The group was led by Miletkov Plamen - Chairman of the "Assembly of the Peoples of Bulgaria," also the head of the NGO "Eurasian Institute of Economics and Geopolitics 'St. Kyprian'" and the NGO "Research Institute of Technologies and Innovations named after Dr. Petar Beron."

The meeting of the delegation at the FSBRI "RIACP Crimea" was organized by the director of the institution, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Vladimir Pashtetsky.

Under the guidance of Plamen Miletkov, key points of this visit to the agricultural scientific center of Crimea were formulated during the meeting with the institute's scientific team, including discussions on prospects for cooperation between Russia and Bulgaria in the production of essential oils.

Issues related to the creation of a test site for growing the newest varieties of essential roses were discussed.

After the general meeting, Bulgarian specialists held meetings with scientists of the Research Institute, discussing specific areas such as breeding, biotechnology, and processing of essential oil raw materials.
