During the meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Deputy Minister Sergey Levin held talks with the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Russian Federation, Mr. Dang Minh Khoi.
The turnover of agricultural and food products between Russia and Vietnam is constantly increasing. Last year, exports grew by 32%, with the main items being grain, crabs, and pork products.
According to the Deputy Minister, there is significant potential to increase the export of agricultural products from Russia to Vietnam, and Russia is interested in significantly increasing deliveries. By 2030, volumes could increase more than 4 times due to the growth in supplies of grain, pork, and fish products.
Russia has received permission to supply all types of livestock and plant products to the Vietnamese market. At the same time, work continues on mutually expanding the list of exporting companies in both directions.
