Almost 15% of the surveyed seeds of spring crops in the Perm region do not meet the requirements of the standard and are considered non-conforming, as reported by the Rosselkhozcenter.
"Currently, agricultural enterprises have 44221 tons of seeds that meet the state standard. The percentage of seed conditionality is 86%, indicating a positive trend," the message says.
It is noted that as of May 6, 60.1 thousand tons of seeds have been sown in the farms of the region, of which 51.4 thousand tons have been inspected (85.5% of the total volume). 7.2 thousand tons of inspected seeds (14%) do not meet the standard, including:
- In terms of purity - 5.4 thousand tons;
- In terms of germination - 2.4 thousand tons;
- In terms of moisture content - 100 tons;
- In terms of presence of pests - 400 tons.
Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Agriculture will change the methodology for determining the indicators of varietal seed quality of agricultural crops.
