According to the NOPA report, in October the US reached a record level of soybean processing, amounting to 5.44 million tons. This number exceeded the previous figure by 0.6 million tons and increased by 5% compared to October 2023.
The stocks of soybean oil in the country also significantly increased over the month, surpassing the minimum level of the last 10 years recorded at the end of September (484 thousand tons) and reaching 680-690 thousand tons. This growth amounted to 2% compared to the same period the previous year.
Thus, the volume of soybean processing since the beginning of the current agricultural year 2024/25 continues to set new records, reaching 10.8 million tons. This increase was 5% compared to the September-October level of the previous agricultural year 2023/24.
