The state authorities of Poland have approved the powers of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, as well as the Minister of Development and Technology, to adopt legislative acts aimed at preventing instability in the agricultural market. In particular, a temporary ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine will be introduced. This information was reported on the official website of the Council of Ministers, according to the publication in "Kommersant".

This decision was made after relevant discussions during a meeting of the Council of Ministers, where current issues of the agricultural market and the consequences of "Russian aggression" for Polish agriculture were considered.

The Minister of Agriculture presented issues related to the influx of agricultural products from Ukraine. The government informs that ministers of relevant sectors are constantly in contact with Ukrainian authorities to stabilize the agricultural market.

Several farmer organizations in Poland expressed dissatisfaction with the supply of Ukrainian grain intended for export but not shipped due to poor quality. To address this issue, the Polish authorities have decided to purchase the grain using state funds. Over 140 million dollars have been allocated for this purpose. President of Poland Andrzej Duda called on Ukraine to take measures to control grain exports to Poland. Ukrainian authorities agreed to temporarily halt grain shipments to Poland.
