In 2025, the amount of financial support provided to farmers from the federal budget may reach 15 billion rubles. This information was announced by Ksenia Shevelkina, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia, at the forum "Development of agribusiness in Russia", which took place at the exhibition "YUGAGRO-2024."
"Ksenia Shevelkina, who is the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, drew attention to the fact that in 2023 the volume of funding for various support measures amounted to about 13 billion rubles from the federal budget, and this year this volume has already reached about 15 billion rubles. In 2025, the Ministry of Agriculture intends to maintain approximately the same amount of funds," - the press release of the association "Narodny Fermer" reports.
The Chairman of the association's council, Oleg Sirotа, noted that during 2024, the "Narodny Fermer" association expanded its presence by opening 19 new units in different regions of Russia, starting from the Belgorod region to the Khabarovsk territory. Currently, the association includes 53 regional communities.
In the near future, the association plans to address several important issues, such as creating a payment mechanism and experience for first-year agronomy students, spreading the experience of Krasnodar region farms throughout the country, improving the agricultural insurance system, simplifying procedures for bringing agricultural land into circulation, and restoring machinery testing stations.
