The region exported confectionery, oil crops, potatoes, bran, flour, dried fruits, legumes, and animal feed to more than 40 countries worldwide.
The most demanded product from Chuvashia is the Chinese market, which accounts for 39.3% of the total export volume in monetary terms.
Belarus takes the second place with 15.6%, followed by the United Arab Emirates with 7.3%, Azerbaijan with 5.8%, and Tajikistan with 5.1%.
Among the total export volume, 4.5 thousand tons are chicken broiler feet, with their export growing by 4.4% compared to the previous year. This product is in demand in China: the feet are used to make fried snacks, dried, produced into chips, or added to various dishes.
Previously, Chuvashia ranked third among the regions with the most developed export potential in the agricultural sector.
