According to the information from the "APK-Inform" agency, a downward trend in wheat prices (on terms of CPT-port) continues on the export market of Ukraine.
This dynamic is mainly influenced by the situation in the external market. Low trading volumes, significant grain stocks held by traders for export, and increased attention to the new crop at more favorable prices have added additional pressure.
For example, in the port of Odesa Big, the spot prices for 3rd grade food wheat have decreased by 3-6 US dollars per tonne and, as of May 8, 2025, fluctuate in the range of 226-232 US dollars per tonne CPT-port. At the same time, in the port of Danube, the decrease in purchase prices amounted to 1-5 US dollars per tonne and remains within the range of 227-231 US dollars per tonne CPT-port.
