In 2025, two new citric acid production plants will be launched in Russia. One will be located in the Tula Region, and the other in the Voronezh Region. A third plant will be opened in the Krasnodar Territory. The demand for citric acid in Russia is increasing due to the development of the food industry.

Farmers plan to plant a variety of crops on more than a million hectares of land in the Tyumen region in 2024. The equipment of the "Agro-Sib-Alliance" company helps to cultivate wet areas, allowing them to successfully start spring work. 93000 hectares of land have already been processed, which corresponds to 11% of the plan. Mineralized strips have been created and seeds have been disinfected.

Rosselkhozbank allocated 424.6 billion rubles in loans to farmers in the first quarter of 2024, which is 11% more than last year. Farmers received preferential terms for 113.7 billion rubles. The bank also allocated 197 billion rubles for seasonal work.

The total amount for exports is 113.8 billion rubles.

In the first quarter of 2024, global prices for wheat and corn reached three-year lows due to record supply. However, it is expected that demand will increase, balancing the market. Russia, the USA, and other countries are actively exporting grain. In the long term, grain prices may rise in Europe due to supply constraints.

By 2030, the production volume of fat-and-oil products in Russia will increase to 16.1 million tons, with exports growing by 16% to 11.1 million tons. The fat-and-oil industry will continue to develop actively and remain a driving force for the growth of agro-exports. The Ministry of Agriculture extends preferential lending for exporters until June 2024.
