Revenue and production volume of oil at Rusagro Group increased to historical levels in the 1st quarter of 2024.

According to the results of the first quarter of 2024 (January-March), Rusagro Group produced and released 296 thousand tons of crude vegetable oil to the market. This is 124% or 164 thousand tons more than in the same period of 2023, as stated in the company's report.

The report notes that the increase in production volumes is associated with the modernization of the fat-and-oil plant in Balakovo (Saratov region) and the consolidation of the production capacities of the NMZhK group, which produced 88 thousand tons of oil.

In addition, the revenue from the fat and oil segment in the first quarter amounted to 29.856 billion rubles, which accounts for 42% of the total revenue. This is 28% higher than the previous year. The revenue from NMZhK amounted to 14.52 billion rubles.

The total volume of industrial fat-and-oil and dairy products sold in the reporting period is 538 thousand tons, which is 2.1 times more than in the same quarter of the previous year. This increase amounts to 272 thousand tons.

Sales of crude oil increased by 57 thousand tons, reaching 111 thousand tons, which is a 2.1-fold increase. Sales of oilcake increased by 42%, reaching 190 thousand tons (+56 thousand tons), while the sales volume of industrial fats increased by 3%, reaching 78 thousand tons (+2 thousand tons).
