According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, 78 crop production enterprises have been accredited by the General Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China.

Following the meetings of the working group held on December 25, 2024, and January 10, 2025, with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and the General Customs Administration of China, a decision was made to expand the access of Kazakh enterprises to the Chinese market. The main goal of these meetings was to discuss possibilities for expanding the export of Kazakh crop production enterprises to China.

As a result of the negotiations, the Chinese side made a positive decision to accredit 78 Kazakh crop production enterprises. According to procedures, the registration will be carried out in parts and published on the official website of the Animal and Plant Quarantine Department of the General Customs Administration of China," the Ministry of Agriculture reported.

Furthermore, during the first meeting, the Chinese side presented proposals and comments on the draft protocols for the export of sugar beet pulp and poultry meat from Kazakhstan to China, as well as on the draft veterinary certificates for slaughter cattle and cow hides.

In turn, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan initiated a request for the training of veterinary and phytosanitary service employees of Kazakhstan in checking compliance with China's veterinary and quarantine requirements, as well as in working with CIFER.

The next meeting of the working group, at the level of deputy heads of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and the General Customs Administration of China, is planned to be held in February 2025.
