Farmers in the Stavropol region have started actively harvesting high-yielding sunflower and beet crops.

Harvesting is actively underway in the Stavropol region. Farmers have already harvested 100,000 tons of sugar beets from an area of 3.3 thousand hectares and 3.4 thousand tons of sunflower. In addition, the planting of a valuable crop - winter rapeseed on 827 hectares has begun. Local farmers receive support from the regional government, including preferential loans and crop insurance.

In the Stavropol Krai region, agriculture is growing and thriving, along with active harvesting of crops. According to the First Deputy Chairman of the regional government, Mr. Andrey Khlopyanov, farmers have already started harvesting sunflower.

The regional government, under the leadership of Governor Vladimir Vladimirov, constantly supports local farmers by providing them with financial opportunities. Agricultural producers have the opportunity to obtain preferential loans at a low interest rate or financing for crop insurance. This issue is handled by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Krai.

According to Mr. Khlopyanov, farmers have already started harvesting field crops. From an area of 3.3 thousand hectares, 100 thousand tons of sugar beet have already been harvested. The yield reached 3.3 centners per hectare. 42.5 thousand tons of raw materials have been sent for processing.

"In addition, agricultural producers have also started harvesting sunflower. At the moment, a little over 1 thousand hectares have already been harvested, totaling 3.4 thousand tons with a yield of 21.4 centners per hectare. Additionally, farmers have started sowing winter rapeseed. The area has been sown on 827 hectares," Khlopyanov shared.
