On June 6, according to the exchange report, the volume of grain sales from the state fund's reserves decreased to 1350 tons (2700 tons were sold yesterday) on the National Commodity Exchange (NCE, part of the Moscow Exchange Group).
On Friday, during one of the 16 mini-sessions, the sale of rye not lower than the 3rd class of the 2023 harvest from the Republic of Tatarstan was conducted.
The next trading sessions are scheduled for June 9, 10, 11, and 16.
The grain purchase and sale system from reserves is used to stabilize prices for grain crops. The final stage of grain purchase operations lasted from December 11, 2023, to July 15, 2024. During this period, 4 million tons of grain were purchased for the reserves, including 3.9 million tons of wheat.
Grain sales from reserves began on August 19, 2024. During the year, 120,825 tons of wheat were sold out of the available 500,000 tons for sale. It is planned to sell up to 3 million tons of wheat, rye, and barley next year. By June 6, 219,510 tons of grain were sold from the reserves for a total amount of 3226.593 million rubles.
