Farmers of the Tyumen region have harvested a significant crop of grain, peas, potatoes, and vegetables. On 66,689 hectares, 169,542 tons of grain were threshed and 10,600 tons of potatoes were harvested.

The vegetable yield also pleased: 2.9 thousand tons of cabbage, 1.6 thousand tons of beets, and 451 tons of carrots were harvested.

In the Moscow region, the harvest of winter grains has begun. More than half of the wheat crops, covering 45.5 thousand hectares, have already been harvested. The total sown area is 81 thousand hectares, with a yield of 36.8 quintals per hectare. Zaraysk, Luhovitsy, and Serebryanye Prudy are leading in terms of harvesting area. In total, 120 thousand tons of wheat have been harvested in the region.

Quotations for Malaysian palm oil on the exchange in Kuala Lumpur dropped to 3715 ringgit/ton (-6 ringgit/ton). Export has decreased, but a price increase is expected on August 21 due to prospects of supply reduction from Indonesia.

Chinese company "Beidahuan" is planning to establish a soybean cultivation enterprise in the Primorsky Territory within the framework of the Vladivostok Free Port. The investment will amount to 78 million rubles, creating 50 jobs, with the first harvest expected in 2025. The enterprise plans to produce over 2.6 thousand tons of soybeans annually for both domestic and international markets.

Harvesting is actively underway in the Stavropol region. Farmers have already harvested 100,000 tons of sugar beets from an area of 3.3 thousand hectares and 3.4 thousand tons of sunflower. In addition, the planting of a valuable crop - winter rapeseed on 827 hectares has begun. Local farmers receive support from the regional government, including preferential loans and crop insurance.
