Eighty-five percent of the grain crops in the Ryazan region have already been harvested, and we are talking exclusively about wheat and rye, as corn will only be harvested in October-November. A total of 2 million 228 thousand tons of grain have been harvested with a yield of 38.2 centners per hectare, which is slightly below last year's level of 39.7 centners per hectare. More than 800 combines are operating, providing not only with machinery but also with fuel.
The leader in gross grain collection is the Saraevsky district with a result of 285 thousand tons, followed by Miloslavsky district (215 thousand tons), Mikhaylovsky (168 thousand tons), Skopinsky (158 thousand tons), and Alexandro-Nevsky (143 thousand tons) districts. Also, districts such as Starozhilovsky (127 thousand tons), Ryazhsky (118 thousand tons), Korablinsky (114 thousand tons), Shatsky (108 thousand tons), and Ukhovsky (105 thousand tons) show good results.
In terms of yield, the best results were achieved by the Putyatsky district with a rate of 51.5 centners per hectare, as well as Alexandro-Nevsky (46.0 c/ha), Sapozhkovsky (44.0 c/ha), and Saraevsky (42.1 c/ha) districts. In some enterprises, the yield reached 60 centners per hectare.
In addition to grain crops, farmers in the Ryazan region are engaged in harvesting rapeseed (43% of the area has already harvested 76 thousand tons of seeds), potatoes (1.4%, 1.4 thousand tons), and vegetables (26%, 1.9 thousand tons). The collection of feed continues: haylage (119% of the plan, 452 thousand tons harvested), hay (47%, 72 thousand tons), and silage (6%, 44 thousand tons).
It is worth noting that agricultural producers from 20 districts of the Ryazan region have already started sowing winter crops for the future harvest of 2025. They plan to sow them on more than 320 thousand hectares, and at the moment, 19 thousand hectares have already been sown with grain crops (wheat and rye) and 11 thousand hectares with oilseeds (rapeseed). The sowing process is particularly active in the Yermishinsky, Korablinsky, Mikhaylovsky, Skopinsky, and Starozhilovsky districts.
Furthermore, in the farms of the Ryazan region, the harvest from the previous year is being continued to be collected, and feed is being harvested for the winter. This indicates that farmers are already investing their efforts not only in the future harvest but also actively taking care of their current production.
