Average fuel prices in the Central Federal District: diesel is cheaper, gasoline is more expensive, what hides behind the numbers.

In the Central Federal District (CFD), the fuel prices are as follows:

Diesel - 62.23 rubles per liter,

AI-92 petrol - 50.70 rubles per liter,

AI-95 petrol - 56.01 rubles per liter,

AI-98 petrol - 69.49 rubles per liter.

The Smolensk region has some of the lowest prices, while Moscow has the highest.

According to Rosstat data, as of April 8, the average price of diesel fuel in the Smolensk region was 60.34 rubles per liter. This is 3.0% lower than the average value for the Central Federal District, which is 62.23 rubles per liter. However, the lowest price of diesel fuel in the district was recorded in the Oryol region, amounting to 58.57 rubles per liter, while the highest price is observed in Moscow and amounts to 63.25 rubles per liter.

The average price of AI-92 gasoline in the Smolensk region was 50.32 rubles per liter. At the same time, the average price in the Central Federal District was 50.70 rubles per liter. The cost of this type of gasoline was the lowest in the Kaluga region, amounting to 48.27 rubles per liter, and the highest in the Voronezh region, amounting to 51.21 rubles per liter.

The average price of AI-95 gasoline in the region was 54.71 rubles per liter, which is 2.3% lower than the average value for the Central Federal District, which is 56.01 rubles per liter. The lowest price for AI-95 gasoline in the district was observed in the Kaluga region, where the cost was 52.08 rubles per liter, while the highest price was recorded in Moscow and amounted to 57.03 rubles per liter.

The average price of AI-98 gasoline in the Smolensk region was 67.40 rubles per liter, which is 3.0% lower than the average value for the Central Federal District, which is 69.49 rubles per liter. The lowest price of AI-98 gasoline was recorded in the Yaroslavl region, amounting to 65.47 rubles per liter, while the highest price was observed in the Ryazan region, amounting to 73.47 rubles per liter.
