The sugar beet harvesting has started in Khmelnytskyi region: the record yield did not meet the expectations.

Agrarians in Khmelnytskyi region started harvesting sugar beets in September. The yield is 475 tons per hectare, slightly lower than last year. Five enterprises will be involved in processing. 3.8 thousand hectares of beets have been harvested (10% of the plan).

According to the report of the Ukrtsukor website, agrarians in the Khmelnytsky region started harvesting sugar beet crops in mid-September.

The current level of productivity is 475 centners per hectare, which is slightly lower than last year's figure. Five enterprises in the region will be involved in sugar beet processing.

At the moment, 3.8 thousand hectares of sugar beets have already been harvested, which is 10% of the planned volume.
