The Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, Andrey Travnikov, congratulated the agricultural workers of the region on the completion of the spring sowing.
“Congratulations to all farmers of the Novosibirsk Region on the successful completion of the spring sowing! This year, it covered an area of 1 million 978 thousand hectares. Technical crops and vegetables were sown in quantities exceeding the planned. Due to excess rainfall, grain crops faced sowing problems in the western regions such as Tatarsky, Chistozyorny, and Chanovsky. Nevertheless, thanks to the weather, which pleases us with moisture and warmth, we continue our work. Agricultural enterprises have already started harvesting crops and preparing feed.
Our farmers are making every effort to obtain a rich harvest this season, provide the region's population with all kinds of food products, and successfully sell agricultural products in external markets,” noted the head of the region.
