China has decided to impose an additional 34% tariff on all American goods imported into the country. This information was reported by the South China Morning Post.
It is important to note that existing tariffs on certain types of American products will also remain in place.
This decision was made in response to similar actions by the US towards Chinese goods, which were announced on April 2.
The new tariffs are set to take effect on April 10.
Furthermore, as part of this decision, export controls will be imposed on 16 American companies, and the right to export to China will be suspended for six companies associated with the US.
