Иgor Artamonov: support for farmers after natural disasters is unprecedented. The governor is monitoring the compensation for damages.

Igor Artamonov praised the assistance to farmers whose crops suffered from natural disasters in May as unprecedented.

"The damage to fruit and berry farms amounted to almost half a billion rubles. The data has been transmitted to the Ministry of Agriculture. We are waiting for a decision," Igor Artamonov said in his Telegram channel.

The governor noted that he is monitoring the process of compensating damages for farmers who lost their crops due to frosts.

"As for the grain crops, all damaged crops have already been replanted," the governor added. "Our farmers are already preparing for the harvest. They have the necessary resources. The actual support measures this year are record-breaking - over 4 billion rubles from local and federal budgets. This is just a preliminary amount. It is already becoming clear that by the end of the year it will increase and exceed 4.5 billion rubles."
