During the first 10 months of this year, Kazakhstan's railways transported 7.9 million tons of grain. Out of this total volume, 6 million tons were sent for export, as reported by the KTZ press service.
The transportation of domestic goods related to grain products grew by 11.7% during the specified period.
Furthermore, from January to October 2024, a total of 2.3 million tons of flour products were transported across the KTZ network, of which 1.7 million tons were destined for export.
It's worth noting that in September-October of the current year, according to KTZ data, 1.8 million tons of grain were exported. This volume is 48% higher than the same period last year (1.2 million tons).
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan forecasts a significant increase in Kazakh grain exports in the first half of 2025.
