Zimbabwe expresses readiness to develop cooperation with Russia in the sphere of agricultural investments. This was stated by the first Vice-President of Zimbabwe, Constantino Chiwenga, who is in Kazan as an honorary guest of the "Games of the Future".
"Zimbabwe is open to developing partnership with Russia in new sectors. There is enormous potential for investments both in agriculture and in many other industries. We are already collaborating with Russian partners in various fields and would like to expand these ties and trade turnover for the benefit of our nation. In Zimbabwe, agriculture is the backbone of the economy, and the success of its development greatly contributes to the growth of industrial production. In Kazan, I took the opportunity to visit agricultural enterprises, evaluate investment projects, and assess the assistance provided to small-scale farms."
Earlier, Chiwenga visited the Kazan Helicopter Plant and expressed gratitude to Russia for sharing knowledge and technologies. He spoke about the achievements of Russian science and world-class technologies, and Zimbabwe is reaping the benefits of cooperation with Moscow.
