The average price of corn in Russia is 13.7 thousand rubles (+1.0 percent for the week). In the southern regions, the price of corn is 12.7 thousand rubles without value-added tax (no changes), in the Volga Federal District - 15 thousand rubles without VAT (+0.7 percent), in the Central Federal District - 14 thousand rubles without VAT (+2.1 percent).
Soybeans throughout the country cost 35.1 thousand rubles on average. The lowest price for them can be found in the North Caucasian Federal District - 27.5 thousand rubles without VAT. In the Central region of the country, the price is 38.4 thousand rubles (+0.3 percent for the week), in the Far East - 32.2 thousand rubles (-0.4 percent).
The average cost of rapeseed in Russia is 33.5 thousand rubles. In the North Caucasian Federal District, the crop is sold for 24.5 thousand rubles without VAT. In the Central region, rapeseed costs 37.6 thousand rubles (+0.1 percent), in Siberia - 32.2 thousand rubles (+6.5 percent for the week).
On the world markets, over the past week, the price of sunflower increased by 1.1 percent and is 691.7 dollars per ton (FOB France), corn became more expensive by 0.9 percent and costs 210.7 dollars per ton (FOB Argentina). The price of soybeans fell by 1.5 percent and amounts to 424.6 dollars per ton (FOB Brazil), rapeseed decreased by 1 percent and costs 561.8 dollars per ton (FOB France).
As of November 21, cereals were harvested from an area of 46.7 million hectares, including 2.4 million hectares of corn. 10.2 million hectares of sunflower, 4.2 million hectares of soybeans, and 2.7 million hectares of rapeseed were harvested.
