Ukrainian farmers are concerned about the lack of plant protection products: only 22.4% of the required volume has been accumulated.
Ukrainian farmers have 6.17 thousand tons of plant protection products, which accounts for 22.4% of the total need for the first half of the year. The highest availability is in Cherkasy (38.9%), Vinnytsia (35.7%), and Chernivtsi (32.9%) regions. The lowest stocks are recorded in Kirovohrad (7.3%), Rivne (8.8%), and Donetsk (9.9%) regions.

According to the latest data as of February 22, Ukrainian farmers had slightly more than 6.17 thousand tons of plant protection products. This accounts for 22.4% of the total demand for the first half of the year, which is 27.57 thousand tons. According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, the volume of herbicide stocks as of the specified date is 3.9 thousand tons or 21.6% of the total demand, which is 6.17 thousand tons.
Speaking of regions, the highest level of provision with plant protection products is observed in Cherkasy (38.9%), Vinnytsia (35.7%), and Chernivtsi (32.9%) regions.
On the other hand, the lowest figures are in Kirovohrad (7.3%), Rivne (8.8%), and Donetsk (9.9%) regions. It is important to note that there is no information on plant protection product stocks in Luhansk region neither this year nor last year.
