In the Orel region, sugar factories produced more than 100,000 tons of sweet products from the seed fruit of the 2024 harvest. The four main employers in the processing industry are the "Kolpnyansky," "Otradin," "Livny Sugar," and "Zalegozhesky" factories, as described by the local management.
By now, 826.6 thousand tons of colored mass have been accumulated, of which 765.2 thousand tons have been processed, and 113 thousand tons have turned into sweet products.
