As of September 1, 2024, the number of livestock and poultry has significantly increased in all categories of farms compared to the same period in 2023.
Additionally, for the first eight months of the current year, there has been an increase in livestock production compared to January-August 2023: meat production from livestock and poultry for slaughter weight has increased by 5.6%, milk by 2.3%, and eggs by 3.8%.
In crop production, it is a busy time: the harvesting of crops continues, winter crops planting is being intensified, perennial fruit and berry plantations are being created, and soil preparation for the upcoming spring sowing campaign is underway.
