Russian agricultural enterprises choose high-quality domestic seeds for growing winter crops.

When sowing winter crops, only high-quality seeds tested in the interdistrict laboratory of the Rosselkhozcenter are used. Agricultural producers receive recommendations on sowing, field treatment, and fertilization. Farmers choose domestic varieties such as Yuka, Graf, Grom, and Tanya, known for their high yields, resistance, and quality.

It is reported that only verified high-quality seeds are used for sowing winter crops.

Before sowing, each seed undergoes quality control in the interdistrict laboratory of Rosselkhozcenter. In September, 7960 tons of seeds were tested.

The laboratory receives seeds from various farms, such as individual entrepreneur "Troyan" and farm household "FED". The obtained results help agricultural enterprises determine the exact seeding rate, taking into account all the laboratory indicators. This allows achieving a high-quality crop. In addition, Rosselkhozcenter provides agricultural producers with recommendations on seed dressing, field treatment, and fertilizer application.

It is noted that agriculture actively purchases Russian seeds. Both large and small farms in the region are switching to domestic varieties. For example, farm household "Kolos-2" has acquired new varieties of winter wheat, such as Yuka and Graf, which are suitable for the region. The Yuka variety was developed at the National Grain Center named after P.P. Lukyanenko. It is characterized by a medium-late ripening period, resistance to various diseases, and excellent baking properties. The main advantages of the Yuka variety are high drought resistance and winter hardiness.

Farm "Vladislav-1" and farm household "Belyuri" have chosen the varieties Grom and Tanya for sowing. The Grom variety, developed at the National Grain Center named after P.P. Lukyanenko, has a yield of around 80 centners per hectare and also exhibits high frost and drought resistance, surpassing average indicators.
