Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev stated that in the current agricultural season (from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025), the export of grain from Russia will amount to approximately 55-60 million tons. This information is provided by the publication "Expert".
As Patrushev notes, the gross grain harvest will amount to 130 million tons, including 83 million tons of wheat. This will allow to supply about 55-60 million tons of grain to external markets in the current agricultural season.
According to the Vice Prime Minister, in 2024 Russian farmers faced extreme weather conditions. Several regions suffered from spring frosts, summer droughts, and abundant rainfall during the harvest.
However, considering the high technological level of agricultural production, the Vice Prime Minister believes that this year there will be a decent harvest. This will fully ensure the domestic market and maintain a high potential for both raw material and processed product exports.
In the previous agricultural season, the export of grain from Russia amounted to 72 million tons, including 54.1 million tons of wheat.
