Viskhan Matsuyev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Chechen Republic on Agriculture, became a participant in the meeting of the operational headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. The meeting was held via video conference and chaired by Andrey Razin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. This information was provided by the press service of the regional department.
"During the discussion, issues related to the progress of harvesting in 2024 were touched upon. At the moment, we have already completed the harvesting of grain and leguminous crops, harvesting over 547 thousand tons of crops on an area of 190.1 thousand hectares. In addition, the sowing of winter crops for the 2025 harvest is nearing completion. Currently, 157.8 thousand hectares have been sown," the message says.
The press service noted that the region did not face any problems in conducting seasonal field work.
Weather conditions during the harvesting campaign did not significantly affect the speed and quality of the harvest. Agricultural producers of the Chechen Republic have a full range of fuel and lubricants, as well as a sufficient amount of necessary equipment. All this allows the republic to successfully fulfill its agricultural tasks.
