In January 2024, 11 batches of agricultural seeds were sent from the Tyumen region to Kazakhstan. This indicator of seed exports significantly exceeds the data for the same period in 2023.
According to information from the Department of Agro-Industrial Complex of the Tyumen Region, citing data from the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Tyumen Region, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the export of Tyumen seeds in January 2024 increased almost 10 times.
Last year, only 20 tons of seed were exported, which is significantly less than January's 11 shipments of 184 tons of seed. Of these, 178 tons were soft wheat seeds, and 6 tons were peas.
All products have undergone strict laboratory control, during which no quarantine objects were detected, and they comply with the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country. All batches received certificates of conformity, and the varietal and sowing qualities of the seeds complied with legal requirements.
The growing interest in agricultural seeds from the Tyumen region indicates the high quality of seed material and the positive impact of agricultural cooperation on the development of both sides in agriculture.
