From January 11 to January 16, new customs duties will be established.
Changes in export duties:
The duty on wheat will increase by 306.2 rubles and amount to 4165.9 rubles per ton, instead of the previous 3859.7 rubles.
The duty on barley will remain zero.
The duty on corn will increase by 283.1 rubles and amount to 1,431.7 rubles per ton, instead of the previous 1,148.6 rubles.
Duty calculations for the following week were based on indicative prices per tonne:
The price of wheat is $250 ($250 a week earlier).
The price of barley is $172.3 ($170.8 a week earlier).
The price of corn is $195.2 ($194.5 a week earlier).
From July 6, 2022, grain duties are calculated in rubles rather than dollars. The duty amount is 70% of the difference between the base and indicative prices. The indicators are based on prices of export contracts registered on the Moscow Exchange.
The base price for calculating the export duty on wheat was revised from June 7, 2023 and increased by 2 thousand rubles, reaching 17 thousand rubles per ton. For barley and corn, the base price is 15,875 rubles per ton. This decision will reduce the export duty rate by 1.4 thousand rubles per ton.
