Starting from the beginning of May, Ukrainian farmers will be able to apply for a state subsidy to carry out agricultural activities. This information was published by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
According to the announcement, applications can be submitted by agricultural producers operating in areas where military actions have already ended, as well as in temporarily occupied territories. This affects certain districts in 11 regions, such as Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions. This directive is addressed to the Ministry of Reintegration of the Territory of Ukraine dated December 22, 2022, No. 309.
Farmers who own or use up to 120 hectares of agricultural land will be able to receive financial assistance in the amount of 8,000 hryvnias per hectare.
The announcement states: "Considering the amount of available funds, the application period will be limited."
