During the evaluation of applications for state support for the development of rural hospitality industry in 2025, 92 participants were selected from different regions of the country, including 2 projects from Chuvashia.
The cooperative named "Melilotus" from Kanash district will receive the maximum financial assistance of 10 million rubles. The project aims to create an agrotourism complex called "Sweet Gold of Chuvashia." Guests of the complex will be able to learn about the production process of honey, creamed honey, kvass, and Ivan-tea, visit the local apiary. To ensure the comfort of the guests, sidewalks, lighting, rest areas, gazebos, parking, swings will be arranged, and signs for navigation will be marked.
Another beneficiary of the financing in the amount of 10 million rubles is a farmer named Oleg Kashkarov. It is planned that with the state support in Komsomolsky district, a guest house will be built on the basis of his farm called "Chuvash Dream." Guests will be able to relax in nature, enjoy tea with jam, learn about the technologies of growing strawberries, and prepare original dishes from the harvest.
In Chuvashia, the development of more agrotourism projects is also planned. In addition to the selection at the federal level, the region has launched a republican competition to allocate funds to support the development of rural tourism.
As Vice-Premier and Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergey Artamonov announced, this year the direction of "Agrotourism" was included for the first time in the list of projects supported by the "Perspective" grant program. Agricultural producers can apply for a maximum amount of 10 million rubles, meeting the federal requirements for funding.
