Investments in grain cultivation are decreasing, which has a negative impact on productivity. However, he does not rule out an increase in global grain prices in the near future.

Experts note an acceleration in the growth of prices for feed additives in Russia. Prices for amino acids have increased by up to 14%, for vitamins - by up to 37%. According to the CEO of Feedlot, this situation is associated with global trends.

Meanwhile, prices in China remain stable. In Russia, the price for concentrates and feed mixtures in August was 26.6 thousand rubles per ton, which is 22.3% lower than in July.

In 2023/24, Russia exported 7.2 million tons of vegetable oils: 5.2 million tons of sunflower oil, 1.2 million tons of rapeseed oil, and 757 tons of soybean oil. Russia holds the third place in the global market, following Indonesia and Malaysia. In 2024/25, the export of oils will decrease due to a reduction in crop yield.

Inflation expectations have decreased: Russians expect a price increase of 12.5%. The Ministry of Economic Development predicts a slowdown in inflation growth to 8.1% by the end of September. The Central Bank raised the key rate to 19% to stabilize prices.

The export of oilseeds decreased by a third, amounting to 1.93 million tons. The export of oils increased by 10%, mainly sunflower and soybean oils. Russian producers have established a solid foundation for exports, but they are facing challenges, including the European Union's duties on imports from Russia.

Prices for exported Russian wheat have remained almost unchanged. The global market has increased by 15%, while the price for Russian wheat has remained stable at $216-218 per ton. Growth in demand and prices for wheat is expected due to a reduction in the harvest.

Due to the increase in income levels among the population in Russia, meat consumption is on the rise despite the changing weather conditions.

The main reasons for this trend are the ability to purchase more expensive types of meat and an increase in production. Investments in the industry are necessary to sustain the demand for meat.

In Russia this year, more sugar beets were harvested than last year, but the harvest volume decreased due to dry weather.
