The first seven thousand hectares of arable land, belonging to the Amur queen of fields, have already been cultivated by local farms. Currently, the Tambovsky and Seryshevsky districts, as well as the Konstantinovsky district, are engaged in harvesting soybeans. The first hectares have also been harvested in the Bureysky district. The total area of leguminous crops this year exceeds 900 thousand hectares. Additionally, for the first time in the region, 2,500 hectares of rapeseed are also being harvested.
According to the Amur Ministry of Agriculture, currently the most soybeans have been harvested by the residents of Tambov - almost 6 thousand hectares, the total sowing area in this district is 117 thousand hectares. The average yield so far is 21.3 centners per hectare. Slightly higher productivity rates are observed in the Konstantinovsky district. Here, a thousand hectares have already been harvested out of almost 79 thousand. Soybean harvesting has just begun in the Seryshevsky and Bureysky districts. Specialists note that farms use different soybean varieties, so the harvesting is done gradually, as the crop ripens.
Potato harvesting is also ongoing, and preparations are being made for the start of a new crop harvest - rapeseed in Priamurye. Harvesting has already begun in the Romnensky district, and rapeseed has also been sown in the Belogorsky and Zavitinsky districts.
