Agriculture in this region continues to actively develop - last year the volume of agricultural production increased by more than 10%. Thanks to government support, enterprises are working efficiently. At the moment, more than 60% of the planned 2 billion rubles for 2024 have already been allocated to recipients.

The Tambov region ranks third in Russia in barley production, fourth in corn, and fifth in soybeans. In 2023, the volumes of agricultural production increased by almost 20%. Currently, the harvesting of grain is continuing at a normal pace, and farmers have all the necessary resources for this.

Within the framework of the state program "Land," 19 reclamation projects were subsidized last year for almost 340 million rubles. This year, 28 more projects will be implemented with funding of 136 million rubles.

The Tambov region is a leading region in livestock development: fourth in the country in poultry production and fifth in pork production. In the first half of 2024, a positive trend is observed. The production of livestock and poultry in agricultural organizations has increased by 6%, and milk - by 9%.

Another important aspect is the development of export potential. In 2023, the volume of food exports from the region reached about 320 million dollars. This year, exports amounted to around 160 million dollars, which is a 21% increase compared to the same period last year.
