Export success: Russia has exported feed and meal for animals abroad that meet international standards.

The main goods exported abroad are sunflower meal (10.9 thousand tons) and ready-made food for dogs and cats (17.7 tons). The main importing countries are Turkey and Abkhazia.

The export process is carried out by enterprises that have passed veterinary sanitary inspection to comply with the requirements of foreign countries and are included in the register of exporters in the "Cerber" information system. No violations of veterinary legislation were found during the inspection of the goods.

During the first eight months of the current year, the department's employees have inspected 80 batches of feeds and feed additives for animals, with a total weight exceeding 230 thousand tons.
