As a result of the trading day, September quotations of soft winter wheat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange CBOT rose to $246.45 per ton, September futures of hard winter wheat KCBT in Kansas City - up to $303.96 per ton, September futures of hard spring wheat MGEX fell to $322, 42 per ton.
U.S. soybean futures hit a one-month high on Tuesday amid concerns about cuts in U.S. supplies and adverse weather that could hurt yields.
Wheat and corn futures also rallied after Ukrainian officials said infrastructure had been damaged in the Black Sea port of Odessa. Cash flow into the markets also helped lift futures, said Arlan Suderman, chief commodities economist at broker StoneX.
November soybean futures rose 17.1/4 cents to $13.95-1/4 a bushel on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and reached their highest price since June 16. September CBOT wheat rose 17 cents to $6.70-3/4 a bushel and December corn rose 28-1/2 cents to $5.34-1/2 a bushel, the highest price since June 29.
The USDA said farmers have cut soybean acreage this year to set aside more acres for corn, though federal forecasters are still expecting big yields of both crops.
Traders are concerned that warmer, drier weather could reduce yields in late July and August, a critical month for soybean production.

rapeseed (ICE, Nov. 2023) - 833.40 cad/t (57160 RUB/t) - plus 0.43%.
On Tuesday, the French grain market rose again. As a result of the trading day, the September quotations of milling wheat on the Parisian MATIF exchange rose to €234.50 per ton (in dollar terms - up to $263.25). November corn futures - up to €231.00 per ton (in dollar terms they rose to $259.32).
On the Paris Stock Exchange (MATIF) on Tuesday, the quotes for the August and September contracts at the close of trading amounted to:
milling wheat (Sept. 2023) - $263.25/t (23,800 RUB/t) - plus 0.90%;
corn (NBR 2023) - $259.32/t (23450 RUB/t) - plus 1.02%;
