Grain prices on exchanges: corn at CME rose to 438.50 ¢/bsh, SRW wheat - 536.00 ¢/bsh, HRW - 536.75 ¢/bsh, HRS - 618.00 ¢/bsh, oats - 384.75 ¢/bsh, rough rice - 13.18 usd/cwt.

Egypt has purchased 6 batches of wheat at a GASC auction, including 5 batches of Russian wheat. The price reached $265 per ton with deferred payment and delivery in March.

The share of Russian wheat purchases in Egypt reached 66% in the 2023/2024 season, increasing by 11.5%.

On the exchanges on May 23, 2025:

Corn decreased by 3.50 ¢ to 459.50 ¢/bsh,

SRW wheat dropped by 2.00 ¢ to 542.50 ¢/bsh,

HRW wheat decreased by 1.25 ¢ to 538.75 ¢/bsh,

HRS wheat increased by 6.25 ¢ to 606.50 ¢/bsh,

Oats decreased by 4.50 ¢ to 354.75 ¢/bsh,

and rough rice rose by 0.26 usd/cwt to 13.17 usd/cwt.

Corn on CBOT - 463.00 ¢/bsh (+2.00);

Wheat SRW on CBOT - 544.50 ¢/bsh (-4.75);

Wheat HRW on KCBT - 540.00 ¢/bsh (-0.50);

Wheat HRS on MGE - 600.25 ¢/bsh (-4.00);

Oats on CBOT - 359.25 ¢/bsh (-0.25);

Rough rice on CBOT - 12.91 USD/cwt (-0.24).

Rosselkhoznadzor issued a certificate for the vessel Wadi Safaga with wheat destined for Egypt at the request of GASC.

Documents have been obtained for two vessels, one of which has already departed from the port.

The International Grains Council has presented crop forecasts for 2024/2025 and 2025/2026. Russia, the EU, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine have either increased or decreased their forecasts for grain, wheat, and corn production and exports. Worldwide, an increase in grain and wheat production is expected.

In the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, a meeting was held between Deputy Levin and the Ambassador of Vietnam. The export of agricultural products between the countries is growing - by 32% last year.

It is planned to increase exports from Russia to Vietnam by 4 times by 2030. Russia has been granted permission to supply all types of products to Vietnam.

Grain quotes on May 2, 2025: corn (CBOT) -461.25 ¢/bsh, soft wheat (CBOT) -526.50 ¢/bsh, hard wheat (KCBT) -528.50 ¢/bsh, hard wheat (MGE) -616.50 ¢/bsh, oats (CBOT) -361.25 ¢/bsh, rough rice (CBOT) -12.61 usd/cwt.

On April 30, 2025, grain prices on the exchanges were as follows:

• Corn and soft red winter wheat rose.
• Hard red winter wheat fell.
• Prices for rice and wheat increased.
• Oats dropped.

The United States Department of Agriculture has forecasted wheat production in Russia at 81.5 million tons, while increasing carryover stocks. The wheat export forecast has been reduced to 46 million tons. Corn production has been raised to 13.25 million tons, while feed grains have been lowered to 33.97 million tons. All forecasts exclude Crimea.

Prices for wheat have dropped on the world markets: in Chicago by 3.42%, in Kansas by 3.50%, in Minneapolis by 2.47%. Prices for corn and rice have also fallen. In Russia, more spring crops have been sown, rice exports are banned, and restrictions on wheat imports from Kazakhstan have been lifted.
