The Voronezh branch of the Federal Center for Grain Quality Control conducted successful laboratory experiments on wheat grain, confirming its high quality.

The branch of the Central Office for the Development of Agriculture in Voronezh has studied the grain of winter wheat collected in the Petropavlovsk district. The test weight of the grain exceeds 744 g/l, corresponding to the third grade. Protein content is 27-28%, transparency is between 45% and 47%. This wheat can be used for baking bread and making pasta.

It is planned to analyze the properties of wheat with a total volume of 3.31 million tons.

The Voronezh branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "CIC APK" conducted the first laboratory experiments on grain from the fresh wheat harvest in the region. The initial samples of winter wheat were selected in the Petropavlovsky district of the Voronezh region from batches totaling 430 tons.

The research results showed that the grain corresponds to the third class with a test weight exceeding 744 g/l, indicating its excellent quality. Transparency indicators were 45% and 47%, protein content was at 27-28% with a quality index ranging from 81 to 85 units, corresponding to Group II.

These characteristics allow the use of this type of wheat for producing flour suitable for both bread baking and pasta production.

This year in the Voronezh region, an analysis of the consumer properties of soft and hard wheat totaling about 3.31 million tons is planned.
